:Mello's birthday present:

Near's POV~ December 13:

It's been four months ever since that clown incident, and I've wanted to prank Mello back somehow. It wasn't a real clown, I know that. I still have the right to sabotage Mello's birthday though.

So far, he's gotten countless of presents, mostly from girls. Matt, like always, gave him the same present Mello receives from him every year. A hug. Not just any hug, a "ten second Matty hug". He acts as if he doesn't enjoy them, but he blushes like a tomato every time, quite amusing to see. I sat in my usual position on the floor taking in the whole image, and I felt slightly guilty for wanting to ruin such a hallmark moment. It's not every day that we see Mello smiling and actually enjoying life. But nonetheless, a harmless prank wouldn't do so much damage would it?

I decided to go through the prank the next day since it obviously wouldn't work right at this moment. The prank was born when I realized that Mello had taken a little too much festive liquor. He couldn't even walk straight, his world was very far away compared to human world. So, it was a very good excuse.

I hid somewhere close to Mello's room, then I saw Matt carrying Mello bridalstyle due to pretty much level ten intoxication. After Matt left, I assumed that Mello was fast asleep so I went in quietly and closed the door. He was a complete mess, his hair was covering his face and... his sleeping position was just terrible. However, I think I could fit in the bed anyway. I took off my clothes and started spreading them around on the floor to make it look convincing, then I lied down with him, which was very difficult to begin with but I managed. Last but not least, I bit his neck without waking him up just in case he gets in denial. I just hope that he realizes what he's done instead of breaking my insides first.

Mello's POV:

I woke up with the worst possible hangover ever. My head was spinning, my hair was a mess, there's white clothes all over the floor and.....


"THERE'S A NAKED ALBINO ON MY BED???!!!!"

As soon as I freaked out, Near woke up startled. I felt like puking... not from the hangover though. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE??!!! AND WHY ARE YOU NAKED???!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. He pouted. "You don't remember? Aww, that's too bad." Then I realized....

"D-did we-?!" He nodded, smiling.

I was very close to fainting.


"And you didn't do anything to stop it?!" He sat up exposing almost everything. "I didn't want to. You're too difficult to resist." I looked at him as if he was going to attack me and I backed away. "T-this is bullshit! I must be having nightmares! No chance in hell would I ever wanna do it with you! Sober OR drunk!" He (cutely) pouted again and pointed at my neck. I touched it instantly and felt a bump, I gasped. "Are you kidding me?!"

"I would never kid about this, Mello." He smiled and kissed me. I felt like puking even more now so I pushed him away. "What the frig! I just said I didn't remember and you have the nerve to do that?!"

"Who knows, maybe you'll remember soon enough."

"But I don't wanna remember!"

"You have to remember! You said you loved me!"

"WHAT?!"

"Don't you love me Mello?" He said, almost on the verge of tears. I stuttered something incoherent and started panicking. I don't like him but I don't want him to cry either! "O-of course I do! Umm... I just... can't remember? I'm still shocked as it is!" I thank God that I can't remember... the fact that Near and I fucked? I'm gonna have a seizure soon and its not a good one... "I have to go." He stood up(I covered my eyes instantly) and put on his clothes. "I hope you remember soon." He gave me one of those soon to be many probably smiles and left.

What have I done... ... I'm screwed.... who topped who anyway? Eww why do I even wanna know that?!


Near's POV:

If I actually had a sense of humor, I would be laughing like a lunatic right now. He actually believed it. Now the question is.... should I tell him it was all a prank and get beaten up, or should I go with it and see how he handles the situation? .......

Well, no competition there.
